Patrick Williams remains out of the Chicago Bulls' rotation, according to Hoops Rumors and BasketUSA. Hoops Rumors reports that the forward, now recovered from a quad injury, has yet to play a minute this season under new head coach Tiago Splitter.
The contrast with his contract is stark: Hoops Rumors says the former No. 4 overall pick is owed $54MM over the next three years, including an $18MM player option for 2028/29. BasketUSA cites an annual salary of $18 million.
Chicago have made a difficult start: beaten 125-111 by the Boston Celtics on 30 October, after a 127-133 home loss to the New York Knicks on 29 October, the Bulls are 5th in the NBA. Next up is Philadelphia 76ers v Chicago Bulls on 3 November at 00:30 Casablanca time.
