The guard had been in a slump during a slow start to the season for the defending champions, Hoops Rumors reports. The win followed a 111-97 victory over the Detroit Pistons on 28 October and a 111-102 defeat by the Orlando Magic on 25 October.
New York are 4th in the NBA after 5 games. Mike Brown's side travel to the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday 30 October, with tip-off at 23:30 Casablanca time.
