Bruno Genesio has denounced a lobbying campaign around Marseille's young players, speaking at a press conference on Friday. "Je ne suis pas dupe, et je ne me laisserai pas gagner par ça", the Marseille coach warned, according to RMC Sport.
With a limited squad but Ligue 1 and the Europa League to play, Marseille are already using academy players this season, RMC Sport reports. According to L'Équipe, Genesio regrets the fixation on youngsters' playing time and treatment, and is wary of Toulouse.
Marseille host Toulouse on 1 November at 19:45 Casablanca time in Ligue 1. Toulouse are 11th with 10 points after 8 matches and drew 0-0 with Troyes last time out. In 24 meetings, Marseille have won 15 and Toulouse none, with 9 draws.
