Miami Heat added plenty of talent in the offseason, but the new-look roster has only 2 wins in its first 7 games, according to Hoops Rumors, citing Ira Winderman of The Sun-Sentinel. The blockbuster trade for Giannis Antetokounmpo has not yet paid immediate dividends, the report says.
Bobby Portis, the Heat's power forward, features in these notes alongside Erik Spoelstra, Kon Knueppel and AJ Dybantsa.
Miami did edge the Los Angeles Clippers 117-116 on 5 November, after a heavy 138-117 defeat by the Los Angeles Lakers on 3 November. The Heat next travel to face the Golden State Warriors on 6 November at 03:00 Casablanca time.
