Shai Gilgeous-Alexander chose to leave the game three points short of extending his NBA record, according to BasketSession. The Oklahoma City Thunder guard let the streak end rather than force it.
His coach, Mark Daigneault, praised the gesture, BasketSession also reports.
The Thunder are back in action on 25 October 2026 at 23:00 Casablanca time against the Los Angeles Clippers in the NBA.
