The Charlotte Hornets have reportedly decided not to pick up Tidjane Salaün's option for 2027-2028, according to BasketSession. The outlet calls it a blow for the 6th pick in the 2024 Draft.
There is no official confirmation. Salaün, a Power Forward, remains a Hornets player under head coach Charles Lee.
Charlotte have lost three in a row: 97-89 at Detroit Pistons on 28 October, 95-79 at Washington Wizards on 30 October, then 104-109 against Philadelphia 76ers on 31 October. They are 3rd in the NBA with 3 points after 7 matches and visit Brooklyn Nets on 5 November at 00:30 Casablanca time.
