Harry Kane is the new Ballon d'Or winner. According to L'Équipe, the ceremony took place on Monday evening in the English capital, with Kylian Mbappé and Lamine Yamal on the podium.
L'Équipe says the Bayern Munich centre-forward scored 73 goals in 65 matches over the year, then led his country to third place at the World Cup. He is the fifth English player to win the trophy. At club level this season he has 11 goals and 8 assists in 14 appearances.
Bayern, top of the Bundesliga with 17 points after 7 matches, host Borussia Dortmund on 31 October at 17:30 (Casablanca time). Moroccan Ismael Saibari is in the squad.
