Younes Belhanda has admitted he approached Ligue 1 this summer to return to France, according to RMC Sport. Speaking on the Riolo Club, the Moroccan said no club followed up.
He insists he has the level to play for any of the big French clubs apart from PSG, RMC Sport reports.
The midfielder plays for Al-Shamal, sixth in the Qatar Stars League with 9 points after 7 matches. They lost 2-3 to Qatar SC on 23 October, after a 0-0 draw at Lusail. Next up is a trip to Al-Sadd on 30 October at 16:30 Casablanca time.
