Pierre Sage is under pressure. According to L'Équipe, the French coach of Crystal Palace, 17th in the Premier League and one point above the relegation zone, is on thin ice after Sunday's 0-2 defeat by Newcastle.
He hopes to turn things around on Wednesday evening at Fulham, kicking off at 20:45, in the League Cup. The paper says he still believes he can revive his side and admits he may need to adapt to this league.
Foot Mercato adds that Crystal Palace took a gamble in hiring the former Lens coach, after finishing 15th in the Premier League last season.
