Dakar 2027: Morocco to host eleven stages, rest day in Agadir
According to Yabiladi and Hespress FR, the relocated 49th edition runs from 9 to 23 January 2027, starting in Portugal.

The Dakar is coming back to Morocco. According to Yabiladi, eleven stages will cross the Kingdom, with a rest day in Agadir. Organisers announced that Saudi Arabia will not stage the event this once.
Hespress FR reports that Morocco and Portugal share hosting duties for the 49th edition, scheduled for 9 to 23 January 2027. Yabiladi adds that competitors will set off from Portugal.
In football, Hassania Agadir, third in Botola Pro with 8 points after 5 matches, travel to FUS Rabat on 31 October at 20:00 Casablanca time.
