Le Havre sack Didier Digard as crisis deepens at the club

After the heavy defeat by PSG, the Ligue 1 bottom side lose their coach and see executives resign ahead of the visit of Lorient.

Le Havre have parted with head coach Didier Digard. According to RMC Sport, the sacking was followed by the resignation of several executives after the 5-1 Ligue 1 defeat by Paris Saint-Germain on 30 October.

RMC Sport also reports that supporters increasingly resent the involvement of owner BlueCrow in running the club. According to L'Équipe, the group Furia Ultra 2024 issued a statement on Monday thanking Digard and outgoing president Jean-Michel Roussier, and criticising Blue Crow's management.

Le Havre are 18th in Ligue 1 with 2 points after 9 matches, having lost their last three games against Auxerre (3-1), Marseille (4-3) and PSG. Morocco's Amir Richardson plays for the club, who host Lorient on 8 November at 16:15 Casablanca time.
