Morez Johnson Jr. has just played the best game of his young NBA career. According to Hoops Rumors, citing Grant Afseth of Dallas Sports Journal, the Dallas Mavericks rookie scored 13 points and grabbed 2 rebounds in 17 minutes off the bench against Sacramento on Monday.
The ninth pick in this year's draft made all 5 of his shots. It did not prevent defeat, though: Dallas lost 100-115 to the Sacramento Kings on 3 November, after wins over the Houston Rockets (116-111) and the Oklahoma City Thunder (120-96).
The Mavericks, 4th in the NBA with 4 points after 7 matches, travel to the San Antonio Spurs on 5 November at 02:30 Casablanca time.
