Dominick Barlow met a specialist on Tuesday to assess the back injury that has kept him out of action for the Philadelphia 76ers this autumn, according to Hoops Rumors.
Head coach Nick Nurse said on Wednesday that Barlow "still has a little bit of time to wait". Hoops Rumors adds that the team is fairly confident about the injury.
The 76ers are coping without him: they top the NBA with 8 points after 9 matches and beat the Detroit Pistons 112-106 on 5 November.
Nick Nurse's side travel to face the Cleveland Cavaliers on 7 November at 00:30 Casablanca time.
