Daniel Gafford puts the team ahead of his own numbers. According to BasketUSA, the Dallas Mavericks centre's priority is to set the right screens for Cooper Flagg and Kyrie Irving, even if that means settling for scraps in attack.
The unselfish work comes with a solid start: Dallas are 4th in the NBA with 4 points after 6 matches. The Mavericks beat Houston Rockets 116-111 on 31 October, after a 120-96 win over Oklahoma City Thunder on 29 October.
Next up: San Antonio Spurs host Dallas Mavericks on 5 November at 02:30 Casablanca time in the NBA.
