Raphinha will stay at Barcelona until 2030. The club announced on Thursday that the 29-year-old Brazilian forward, previously under contract until 2028, has extended his deal, according to Hespress FR and L'Équipe. Foot Mercato had reported the agreement was imminent the day before, citing Mundo Deportivo.
L'Équipe describes him as the Barça captain, who arrived in 2022. This season he has 19 goals and 3 assists in 13 appearances (12 starts). Barcelona are top of LaLiga with 30 points after 11 matches, and beat Aston Villa 3-0 in the Champions League.
Raphinha and his team-mates next face Atlético Madrid on 8 November at 20:00 (Casablanca time) in LaLiga.
