Thibaut Courtois will not play in the Clásico against Barcelona. Real Madrid announced on Sunday 25 October that their goalkeeper is out with flu, a few hours before the 21:00 kick-off at the Camp Nou, according to RMC Sport and Hespress Sport.
According to Foot Mercato, Courtois still hoped to join the squad during the morning, before the outlet confirmed in the late afternoon that he was definitively out. RMC Sport says Andriy Lunin should take his place in goal.
Courtois had started all 15 of his appearances this season. Real Madrid are 3rd in LaLiga with 21 points after 9 matches and travel to Racing de Santander on 1 November at 15:15 Casablanca time.
