Esteban Lepaul will miss Rennes's game against Strasbourg, according to L'Équipe and Foot Mercato. The forward hurt his left ankle in the 4-3 defeat at Paris FC on 18 October and has not yet recovered.
It is a blow: Lepaul has 8 goals in 9 appearances (8 starts) this season. Rennes are 6th in Ligue 1 with 13 points after 7 matches and drew 2-2 at Juventus in the Europa League on 22 October.
Franck Haise must therefore do without his top marksman on Sunday 25 October, with kick-off at 16:15 Casablanca time.
