Alexander Volkov has stopped chasing the UFC heavyweight crown, Bloody Elbow reports. The Russian is rethinking his approach after again being passed over for a title opportunity.
According to the outlet, Volkov has fought 20 times in the UFC and been on seven cards, yet that has never opened the door to a championship bout.
The heavyweight therefore closes a long pursuit that never produced a shot at the belt.
