Dominick Cruz has come out in defence of Ciryl Gane. According to Bloody Elbow, he does not think Gane intentionally fouls his opponents.
Cruz goes further: the outlet reports he argues it is the fighter's own fault if they get poked in the eye.
The comments come ahead of a UFC heavyweight title fight next month between two stars who have both had eye-poke incidents.
