Islam Makhachev may be considering fights outside the UFC, according to Bloody Elbow. His manager reportedly named a match with Khamzat Chimaev as a possible side quest away from the promotion.
The idea comes amid criticism of his activity level in the UFC. The outlet adds that a number of options have emerged for UFC stars who want to fight elsewhere.
For now it is a possibility raised by his camp, and nothing official has been announced for such a fight.
