Sherdog reports that Marcos da Matta, a coach at American Top Team, is in favour of a lightweight championship clash in the UFC pitting Alexander Volkanovski against Arman Tsarukyan.
So far this is a trainer voicing support for a hypothetical matchup rather than a confirmed fight.
Da Matta is therefore behind the idea of his fighter challenging Volkanovski for the division's belt.
