Manchester United were beaten 3-0 by Bournemouth at Old Trafford, according to BBC Sport. Their winless run stretches to eight matches in all competitions, leaving manager Michael Carrick under severe pressure.

L'Équipe calls it a fresh humiliation and says Carrick's dismissal looks inevitable as the club sinks deeper into crisis.

Bournemouth now host Leeds United, the club of goalkeeper James Trafford, on 31 October at 15:00 Casablanca time in the Premier League. Leeds are 7th with 11 points after 8 matches, and drew 0-0 at Sunderland last time out.
