BBC Sport reports that Tenerife striker Jesús de Miguel is stable in intensive care after a serious injury on Monday during a Spanish second-division game.
L'Équipe says the Andorra goalkeeper crashed into him near the centre circle in stoppage time. The player left in an ambulance and play was halted. The paper adds that he reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest during the transfer before being revived.
Goalkeeper Jesus Owono is said to be deeply affected, L'Équipe reports. He had covered for Pau Lopez, who is back from injury, for a few matches.
