Carlos Prates does not appear shocked. Bloody Elbow reports that the Brazilian has responded to talk that Islam Makhachev is pulling out of UFC 336, which is not confirmed.
The outlet says Prates looks to have established himself as the leading challenger among the welterweights, and that his response nods to a famous Nate Diaz moment.
If the pull-out is confirmed, it would affect the pecking order of the division, where Prates appears to sit at the front.
