Harriet Dart will play for the Guangzhou title. According to Tennis Majors, the qualifier saved three match points in her semi-final to reach her first WTA final.
She will face teenager Lilli Tagger, who needed only 52 minutes to win her own semi-final and book her place in the title match.
It sets a qualifier with a nerve-shredding run against a teenager in a hurry, with a WTA trophy at stake.
